The Community Design Resource Center has worked with communities throughout the city of Houston in the aim to prove that design can be a catalyst for positive change. Our partners and model communities are as varied as the city to which they belong. We are intrigued and inspired by Gulfton’s super density, the layered landscapes and historic past of the East End, the social richness of the historic neighborhood of Independence Heights, the institutional variety of the Third Ward, just to mention a few.
