Green City: Future Transit Center

Above: Perspective from Sylviana Gunawan’s project

|

The Green City project departed from the premise that new public transportation lines will link new places, providing new opportunities in Houston. With this comes the potential to generate new centers of activity in the City.  To test this idea, and to illustrate the possibilities to others, students developed visions for four transit centers.  The sites included Greenspoint Mall Transit Center, Northline Mall Transit Center, Eastwood Transit Center and  Palm Center.
